Terms And Conditions

SHAH VARZAAVAND TRUST is meant for all Mazdayasni Zarathushtis, who are proud of their lineage, tenets and Religious traditions and wishes to discuss and highlight topics, of global interest in unity of cultural and religious subjects.
A Mazdayasni Zarathushti for the purpose of membership in this Trust is, one who is not intermarried, whose lineage and both parents, Grand Parents and Great Grand Parents are Mazdayasni Zarathushtis, whose Navjote has been performed, who prays daily, believes in the Sudreh-Kusti and wears them 24 x 7, believes in ‘Boonak Pasbani’, believes and accepts the obligatory principle and practice of Dokhmenashini through Khurshed-Nagirashni, and actively practices Good Thoughts, Words and Deeds.

Applicants who are married out of the community, whether male or female, are ineligible for membership.
It follows and stands to reason that children of such intermarriages, whether the father or mother was born a Parsi or not, whether their so-called navjotes have been performed or not, are also ineligible for membership.
Mazdayasni Zarathostis considers male and female to be equal in this regard. This is non-negotiable as intermarriage is utterly destructive for our Community, and is contrary and anathema to all the fundamentals of our Mazdayasni Zarathosti religion.

‘Boonak Pasbani’ or preservation of our genetic ‘Tokham’ through marriage within the community and within the subcast is the most pristine and fundamental foundation of our Religion. Without it, all the other fundamental disciplines disintegrate.

Furthermore, it stands to reason and is self-evident that this Trust cannot promote or be supportive of any organization, institution or ideology which compromises, either by written statement or action or both, the pristine and obligatory religious and lifestyle principles explained in this Description.

Applicants who hide behind pseudonyms or who are suspected of using fake IDs will not be approved for membership. Applicants are expected to have the courage of their convictions and use their real names.

If the moderators feel the need to check your identity before granting membership, they will reach out to you.

Any ineligible member found to be inadvertently or unknowingly included will be summarily removed from the group.

Open discussion is encouraged; however basic Mazdayasni Zarathosti etiquette must be adhered to. Posts with abusive language, snide remarks, personal attacks as well as overt attacks against our Religion or for that matter any other, will be deleted and your ID banned after a warning.

Do invite your friends and contacts to the Trust if you feel they meet the norms. They will be added after a moderator approves their request to join.

The above are the terms and conditions.
